The History of Drug Wars

The crusade started many, many years ago when I thought about how drugs and alcohol have affected my life and many of the people I love. I've never had an addiction (other than cigarettes) but it has affected me personally in many ways.

Family and friends have been permanently affected, damaged and killed by all kinds of drugs and substances from alcohol to methamphetamine. I suspect that most people can say the same thing.

One time I was in a room with about 100 people and I asked if they had been personally affected by drugs or other substances. I included the prescription medications, alcohol and/or tobacco. About a third of them raised their hands. Then I asked if someone they loved had been affected the same way and almost everyone raised their hands.

The pages that follow are my personal journey and what I did to do my part. What started out a search for a business niche ended up as a mission.

The story is presented year by year and each year you will see how things worked together to bring us to the final episode which is where we are now. I hope you enjoy the story and I hope you are inspired to do something.
